As we witness the close of another year, let me wish everyone success and good health in 2023.

May everyone of us be surrounded always by the warmth and love of our family and dear friends.

It is with great joy that I want to inform you that exciting changes are coming for ReyFort Media in 2023. One is the launch of its app so you our loyal readers and supporters will be able to access the latest news online. We are lining up more innovations, so stay tuned.

ReyFort Media is also privileged to have secured the franchise of Fiesta Extravaganza, the biggest Filipino festival celebrated across major cities in Canada. Watch out for further announcements and we look forward to seeing you at Fiesta Extravaganza 2023 in July.

As someone who has been deeply involved with our community, I am also happy that 2022 brought the great news that a Filipino cultural centre is now an official goal of the B.C. provincial government. Premier David Eby has included in the mandate letter of Mable Elmore as Parliamentary Secretary for Anti-Racism Initiatives, also the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Vancouver-Kensington, the task of working for the establishment of a provincial Filipino cultural centre.

Big things are coming in 2023, and I invite everyone to come together and work to uplift our Filipino community.

    Mabuhay tayong lahat!
