  • michaelvSinging comic Michael V., also known as “Bitoy” [real name Beethoven del Valle Bunagan], denies allegations that he is changing networks. According to the comedian, he has no reason to do so especially since he is very happy with the amount of work he is getting with his current network, GMA. “Hindi.

Malabo. Masaya ako dito,” said he during a recent TV interview. He hastily added, “’Tsaka may shows ako. ‘Di pwede.” Michael V. asserted that the bit of news is groundless even as he pointed to a leading daily being among those possibly spreading the gossip via a “blind item.”

Nakita ko nga ‘yun na parang blind item sa Inquirer. [Sabi doon] top comic, pero… baka nga kasi hindi din ako ang tinutukoy duon,” he explained.

“Pero baka kasi nagpunta din lang ako ng Amerika ng isang buwan… so [that might have started it all],” he said. Michael V. is still very much involved with the long-running gag show “Bubble Gang.” He is also busy with the hit series “Hole in the Wall” and “Pepito Manaloto.”

“Kaya nga sabi ko paano iisiping lilipat ako, e, ang dami kong trabaho sa ngayon,” he said. Michael V. admits that he isn’t earning as much as the network’s other big stars but that he is “happy and content.” “I don’t have a lot but I’m satisfied with what I have. I’m comfortable. Ao naman basta komportable ako, komportable pamilya ko… [basta] masaya kami e, ayos na ako.”
