  • Once again, thousands of Filipinos ranked ABS-CBN Network as one of the most trusted brands in the country. The media company wins its fifth consecutive Platinum Brand Award at the prestigious Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands 2020.

In a survey commissioned by Reader’s Digest, consumers ranked the network highly in terms of trustworthiness, credibility, quality, value, understanding of consumer needs, innovation, and social responsibility.

In the virtual awarding ceremony posted on the international magazine’s website on Thursday (Jan. 28), ABS-CBN Integrated Marketing and Consumer Experience head Cookie Bartolome said that the award serves as a reminder for the company to continue giving its best service to Filipinos.

“This award also serves both as a reminder and an inspiration of how at all times we should give our best and most meaningful service to inspire and uplift Filipinos wherever they may be,” Bartolome said.

Meanwhile, Vice Ganda also earned consumers’ trust again for spreading happiness and inspiration to thousands of viewers through the ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime.

The host was hailed as Most Trusted Entertainment/Variety Presenter.

“I am so grateful that you appreciate my work as an entertainer. God bless you guys,” Vice said after winning the award for the second straight time. (TMS)
