  • “It’s amazing! ‘Yun lang talaga,” said Josh when asked how has he been adjusting to married life so far during the virtual media conference for The Goodbye Girl episode titled Legally Blind that he’s starring in with Elisse Joson. “Marami kasi akong kaibigan na kasal na at ‘yun ang lagi nilang sinasabi na masaya s’ya. It’s amazing, and you really develop with your partner differently ‘pag kinasal na kayo.

“And it might not be the same for everybody, pero para sa akin, we grew more together noong kinasal na kami. So, bottom line, amazing, super saya,” he added.

Josh said not much has changed in his views regarding relationships after becoming a married guy. “With relationship views, wala masyadong nag-bago, kasi ever since ganito naman talaga ako. Parang we just took a ride together, and I just found the right person to grow (old) with. So, walang masyadong views na nag-change. What happened was, I found somebody who has similar views as me, that’s why it worked out.”

According to the Kapamilya actor, settling down is not something to be rushed about.

“I think a lot of people can relate with me when I say na, you just know,” he reasoned out. “Malalaman mo lang ‘yun talaga. It takes time at kapag tumagal ka sa relationship at alam mong tama talaga ‘yung taong para sa ‘yo, malalaman mo lang.”

He agreed that there are people who are blinded by love but he cannot blame them “because, oftentimes, they are being swayed by their emotions at ‘yung iba naman nag-mamadali sa pag-ibig o minamadali nila ‘yung proseso at di nakukuntento so nag-hahanap ng iba. (B. Glorioso, PS)
