  • anderson— Young actor Gerald Anderson finally admitted having a certain level of closeness with Bea Alonzo days after rumor erupted that they have broken up.

Mustering enough guts, Kim CHU’s favorite leading man admitted dating Bea.“Me and Bea, we were seeing each other,” was Gerald’s admission on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Nov. 24. “Mas nakilala ko siya hindi lang ‘yung Bea Alonzo but as a person who is very genuine and thoughtful and sobrangbait. And I have the great opportunity to know her.”Gerald was romantically linked to Bea months ago and the talk took a toll on his relationship Kim. The Bea-Gerald real-life romance spawned hate messages and death threats for Bea.

In his presscon for a movie, Gerald even broke down and appealed to his haters to spare the actress from these.though they dated, Gerald clarified it did not blossom into a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.“We also decided to… siguro ‘yon muna, friends muna. We’ll stay friends muna,” he stressed, adding, “ We got to know each other better and ‘yun ‘yong importante sa amin.”Gerald maintains that even with Bea around, he’s still friends with his screen partner Kim.“We’re very good friends. Sa lahat ng nangyari sa amin the last few months, we’re even stronger.”So does this mean he, Bea and Kim are still single?“Sa alam ko, yeah, we’re all single,” Gerald quipped. He has come out in the open with his relationship with Bea to protect not only the latter but Kim.“I’m doing this right now para kahit paano ma-shield ko sila from all the things that has happened to us. Maprotektahan ko sila. Of course I care for both of them.”
