  • MANILA — The producers of”Hello, Love, Again” warned of legal action against those who are illegally copying and downloading the hit film starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.

ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema said the movie’s producers “do not tolerate any form of piracy” and were taking down illegal copies and downloads of the film.

“Star Cinema and GMA Pictures are in the process of pursuing legal action against people who have been selling, posting and sharing the film. Violators will face 9 years of imprisonment and P1.5 million penalty,” it said.

To report pirated “Hello, Love, Again” videos, send an e-mail at [email protected] with a link of the illegal content and the subject line Report Piracy (Hello Love Again).

On Friday morning, Star Cinema said “Hello, Love, Again” earned over P155 million in its first two days.

The romantic film started screening in Australia and New Zealand on Thursday.

“Hello, Love, Again” will also be screened in US, Canada, Guam and Saipan on Friday and in London on November 16.

From November 21, the movie will be shown in UAE, Oman, Qatar, KSA and Bahrain.

Bernardo and Richards are set to fly soon to LA, Toronto, and Dubai to attend soldout special screenings.

The duo will also grace the 10th Asian World Film Festival, where “Hello Love Again” was selected to be the closing film.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, “Hello, Love, Again” is the sequel to 2019 blockbuster movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye”. (ABS-CBN)
