IMG_2732Hard luck has fallen on Detroit over the years. Once the beacon of American industry thanks to cars and Motown now parts of this once thriving metropolis look like a ghost town rife with crime and derelict buildings. To make ends meet three down on their luck young 20 somethings take to crime just to get by. Their crime of choice is burglary and already the convoluted relationship is wearing thin.

In hopes of escaping the doldrums the trio plan one last heist. Beware of messing win other people’s lives. When a simple cash and grab of a house owned by a blind military vet becomes a fit for survival you just know you’re in for a goose bump exploding experience.

Who needs big name stars when you’ve got competent convincing actors and a mad warrior in the loose. Given a knock out script and just a gripping jaw-dropping atmosphere consider Don’t Breathe to be a perfect mix of big time thrills and perfect chills. No, you will not know what’s going to happen next in this well-paced gripping tale of taking a wrong turn and having to face the untold consequences. Let the games and the mayhem begin!

And if there’s any deterrent to aspiring burglars then Don’t Breathe is it. Scary. Very scary – totally enjoyable and just a real blast.
