Think Mother Nature on steroids and you’ll get the picture.

Alas, all is not well on the Akneset mountainside which sits just above a Norwegian town. Small little noticed tremors turn into one big mess as suddenly the Earth shales in a big way. How the locals handle the lending catastrophe is revealed in top fashion. Edge of your seat thrills rule the day as filmmaker Roar Uthaug pulls out all the stops in this survival sage. If you like movies like last year’s San Andreas you will be delighted with The Wave which is as good as any Hollywood disaster movie.

Tension abounds in this amazing thriller. As we are currently in Oscar season it would be not hard pressed to see a cinematography honour cast The Wave’s way as the scenery here is really enchanting,

Ideal for the entire family The Wave is well worth a trip to your local cinema. Surf’s Up!
