  • Pinoy Big Brother 737 teen winner was Ilocano native Hendrix “Jimboy” Martin from Nueva Vizcaya and PBB  regular housemate winner was single mom Miho Nishida, who shared the limelight before thousands of Bicolano fans who watched the finale.

The winners each took home an Asian tour package, P1M prize and house and lot from Camella Homes. Second big placers were Sydney teener Ylona Jade Garcia and Filipino- German model Tommy Esguerra for the regular housemates.

The two sets of PBB Big 4 were pronounced in two batches in two consecutive nights. On the first night, Albay resident Franco Rodriguez and UK teenager Bailey Thomas May were declared third and fourth PBBplacers in the teen category.

Meanwhile, tour guide from Bacolod Roger Lutero and dancer from Australia Dawn Chang were named third and fourth runners- up, respectively, in the adult edition. They got P300,000 and P100,000 each.

he two-night show featured previous PBB winners in live appearances (Myrtle Sarroza, Keanna Reeves, Kim Chiu, Daniel Matsunaga, Ejay Falcon) and taped video (Slater Young, Melai Cantiveros), as well as other housemates who have made names for themselves in local showbiz.

PBB 737 started last June 20 with the teen housemates. After 50 days, the Teen Big Four were announced but they had to make their temporary exit from the house to give way to the next batch of housemates  who comprised the adult edition. The Teen Big Four returned to the house on Day 99 and joined the adult housemates.
Enchong Dee joined the hosting panel this season as he initially entered the house and bonded with the teen housemates. On the final week of the competition with the adult housemates, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla returned to ABS-CBN and reprised her PBB hosting job as the “Kapitbahay ni Kuya.”

The hosts, including Toni Gonzaga and Robi Domingo, were all in high spirits throughout the two nights of the finals. They kept on shouting, if not screaming, every other line that they said, from merely mentioning the prizes to announcing the time left to vote to interviewing the parents of the Big Four to calling on the winners. Understandably, excitement was in the air. (L. Salterio, PS)
