  • Ottawa, Canada – On December 2nd, 2024, Lita Cabal, together with her husband Michael Cabal and Andrew de Jesus, traveled to Ottawa to participate in the 11th Annual Christmas on the Hill, a special event organized by the Conservative Party of Canada in association with Tim Iqbal, the President of Christmas on the Hill. This year’s event was a remarkable celebration, bringing together diverse communities, including various religious organizations, to commemorate the Christmas season in Parliament. Lita and her delegation were honored to represent the Filipino community in British Columbia during this festive occasion.

    Christmas on the Hill has become a beloved tradition, with Conservative MPs hosting the annual event in the heart of Ottawa for the 11th consecutive year. The celebration unites MPs, their families, and communities from across Canada, reinforcing the shared values of love, unity, and support that embody the holiday season.

    Lita Cabal, who is currently running for nomination as the Conservative Party of Canada’s candidate for Member of Parliament (MP) in the Fleetwood-Port Kells riding, was personally invited by the office of Conservative MP of Airdrie-Banff, Mr. Blake Richards. This invitation highlights Lita’s growing recognition within the political landscape and her ongoing advocacy for her community.

    Lita’s husband, Michael Cabal, also attended the event. In addition to his work as a Realtor, Michael is deeply involved in community advocacy, and together with Lita, they are a dynamic power couple committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

    The event featured the participation of various religious organizations, making it a true reflection of Canada’s diversity. This year’s Christmas on the Hill provided a special opportunity to celebrate Christmas in Parliament, a moment that brought people of different faiths and backgrounds together in unity.
