  • KristineHermosaKristine Hermosa assumed the role of a saleslady on October 12, at the SM Supermarket in Megamall, Mandaluyong City. The Kapamilya actress was joined by fellow stars Empress Schuck, Miriam Quiambao, Melissa Ricks, and Maja Salvador, in personally assisting the shoppers, which is part of Procter & Gamble’s 75th anniversary celebration. Each of the stars was assigned to man a particular stall containing some of the brands being manufactured by the multinational company. Kristine, who was tasked to patrol the booth of a shampoo brand, was an instant hit with the buyers, who made the most of the rare occasion by having their pictures taken with the mestiza actress.

“Nag-enjoy ako. Gustong-gusto ko talaga ‘yong nagtitinda,” beamed Kristine after the brief morning activity. The activity, added Kristine, enable the buying public to interact personally with their favorite celebrities, rather than just seeing them on towering billboards along the highways and on TV commercials played intermittently throughout the day.
    WAITING FOR A FILM PROJECT.
With the 36th Metro Manila Film Festival only a few months away, many are wondering if they will see Kristine again in one of the movie entries.
Kristine’s track record in the annual Christmas film festival is impressive, having appeared four times in the highly successful Enteng Kabisote franchise in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. Ace Comedian Vic Sotto, however, decided to take a break from fielding an Enteng Kabisote entry since 2008. His last two bets in the festival, namely,

Iskul Bukol 20 Years After and Ang Darling Kong Aswang, did not include Kristine in the final cast. Although Enteng Kabisote will make its return this year in the upcoming festival, Vic’s leading lady of choice this time around is pretty newcomer Gwen Zamora. She will portray the role previously assumed by Kristine, Faye. Kristine, who was last seen on the big screen via Star Cinema’s 2008 drama-romance film My Big Love, said she’s yearning to do another movie but the lack of an appealing project inhibits her from making a comeback.
“Gustong-gusto ko talaga gumawa ng pelikula,” confided Kristine. “Pero ‘yon nga lang, as of the moment wala pa talagang magandang material for me. I can wait until meron.”

WANTS MOVIE WITH JERICHO. If Kristine had her way, she would like to work again with former love team partner Jericho Rosales, who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend.

The two were one of the most popular love teams back in the early millennium. The success of their television shows together like Pangako Sa ‘Yo (2000) and Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas (2003), along with film projects Forevermore (2002) and Ngayong Nandito Ka (2003), attest to their drawing power as a couple.
Jericho and Kristine were reunited in 2009 through ABS-CBN’s drama-romance series titled Dahil May Isang Ikaw. But a possible new movie with Jericho, said Kristine, will perhaps excite the old fans even more.
